I can remember a few tracks that were played on this particular show because my brother recorded it and I used to play the tape to death (yes, those were the days). And the reason I know that it was this particular night is because Humble Pie was the featured 'Archive Sesssion' band and Diamond Head was the featured session - see the Sessions page .

The tracks were (in no particular order):

  • Ace of Spades - Motorhead
  • Motorway City - Hawkwind
  • Tom Sawyer - Rush
  • The Glorious Om Riff - Steve Hillage
  • She Said - Lone Star
  • A Judas Priest track (I can't remember which one, I'm afraid)
  • Friday night connection :
    • One of My Turns - Pink Floyd
    • Monkey Man - Rolling Stones
    • A Hazel O'Connor track - I cannot remember which one.
I cannot remember what the connction was.
  • Diamond Head - session :
    • Sweet and Innocent
    • Lightening to the Nations
    • On Borrowed Time
    • Don't You Ever Leave Me
  • Humble Pie - archive session :
    • Natural Born Boogie
    • ?
    • ?
    • ?
  • Helter Skelter - The Beatles

I just want to add that this site really brings back some great memories for me. I used to be an avid listener for about 3 years (1980 - 1983). I really hope this site gets a lot of contributions.
