  • Information of tracklisting from Hal C F Astell's website.
  • Hal: "Repeat session by Rock War winners Tortoise Corpse, first broadcast in June. Tommy says (three times) that they won on 18 May 1990, which doesn't seem to fit with reality; I have that as 27 April 1990."
  • The Rock War features Red Sky from Manchester, AXS from London and Fahrenheit from Grimsby. Fahrenheit won, with Red Sky second and AXS third. This is Round 10 Week 3. Tommy say the final will be the following week.
  • Introduction (after first song): “Well hello there, this is TV on the radio, Thomas Vance, the music vendor, and welcome to… the Friday Rock Show. Welcome to the jungle, Guns n’ Roses, can’t be too long ‘til we get their new album. I hope. Also in the show tonight, a repeat by the band who won the Rock War from Llannelli in Wales, Tortoise Corpse. And of course we have a Rock War, bands tonight from Manchester, from London and also from Grimsby, vote when you get the chance. Music by Oblivion, Steelheart, Deep Purple, ZZ Top, Notorious, Queensrÿche, Faster Pussycat and Metallica, Scorpions, Cinderella, Andy Taylor, and many, many more…".

  • Oblivion & Andy Taylor not featured on recording.
  • Hal: "I dated my cassette, but that's backed up before the Slayer track by Tommy mentioning that he had just seen them 'on Sunday' on the Clash of the Titans tour; that was 14 Oct 1990 at the Wembley Arena."
  • After the Scorpions track, Tommy mentions that he'll be talking with Klaus Meine the following week on a Scorpions special.
  • Interview with singer Mike (Miljenko Matijevic) from Steelheart before and between their tracks.
