Hibiscus were a British rock band from Newcastle consisting of Bob Korner (vocals), Graham Close (guitar), Kevin Moore (bass) and Pete Saunders (drums), who did a session for the Friday Rock Show in 1980.

On the Friday Rock Show, broadcast on 16 July 1982 - Tommy commented that following the repeat of the Hibiscus session the band decided to get back together after having broken up following the recording of the session. He reported that they were going to cut a new EP.
